A place for good value food, friendly atmosphere and fine ales! The Greyhound Inn opened in 1985.

It was the second pub in Gloucester to have been built by Banks's Brewery (Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries). In common with the Haywain in Quedgeley, it used recycled bricks from the old Gloucester Infirmary in Southgate Street in its construction. The name comes from the Gloucester Greyhound Track that was on the site of the pub and the adjoining housing estate. The refurbished Greyhound, under the Marston's name, opened on September 17th 2007. Our striking pub is located within Greyhound Gardens, only two miles off Junction 11A of the M5 and only a short drive from Cheltenham Racecourse. The Greyhound offers a delicious and diverse food menu to suit all tastes and lists a whole range of cask ales and wines for you to enjoy too. Here at The Greyhound, we pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service possible to make your time here a plesant and memorable experience.
