💔 Unfortunately, today’s Watson Jazz Quartet performance has been cancelled.
We’re genuinely gutted, as we know so many of you were looking forward to one last afternoon of jazz at The Drunken Duck this summer.
The decision has been made because of the weather, and we completely understand it. With the band playing outside in the alleyway, they simply can’t risk damaging their instruments and equipment in the rain. As much as we’d love to squeeze everyone inside, our little pub just isn’t big enough to host the quartet indoors.
A huge thank you to Watson Jazz Quartet for always bringing such an incredible atmosphere to the Duck. We’ll be doing everything we can to get them back as soon as we get a spell of reliable weather.
We’re still open as usual today, with some cracking ales and craft b**rs pouring, so if you fancy escaping the rain, pop in for a pint and a catch-up.
