Quieter than usual but an epic battle to be crowned supreme leaders of the boozer....for a week. 😂
The commanders found themselves in unfamiliar the territory..as they were leading the teaser...with victory in their grasp .. Mo the stalwart that he is..f**ked up royally!!!
A song that everyone knew was from Aladdin...but not our chum he was in like flint with...the lion king...fanny!!!!
The gadgies were also in uncharted territory when they finished as wee DIDDY TEAM... birthday boy champagne Robert was in for the wayward Worzel and boy did it backfire....
The VESTALS with the newly gazetted Ann Frank put in a spirited performance and we're only beaten by a point by....the bridesmaids...yes the firestarters featuring Pippa the dog claimed victory,no Laurie maybe benched for the next game.. 😂
Oh the commanders wiped out in the final round and still were only two points away from nirvana,so it really was a costly slip up by Mo 🎉
PYCR £120 Prize...we had the most beloved of men ( his description of himself) KENDO getting to the last card before tragedy,strangely enough it coincided with the biggest cheer of the night????
Champagne Robert a previous winner was to suffer the same fate.....then following on from wee Charlie two weeks ago another resident from the home for the bewildered stepped up and won the dough!!! This time it was General George 😀🍾🍾🍾

A heaving, throbbing, vibrating ,gaff was to be expected.. however I didn't think it would be me watching the hearts game!!!!
Pub was bouncing,fool strength VESTALS,gadgies,and 2's company,the firestarters were missing toon drunk Sam..c'est la vie...
They were all in the hunt...apart from serial wee diddy team..the commanders.....
Has to be said that the VESTALS has Ann Frank in their team and all that time in the attic paid off.... 😂....
Firestarters were absolute s**te but managed to claw it back ,the gadgies had Mac and Wilkie and Vicky pulling their hair out over ayatollah worzel.who was the toon drunk by a million miles!!!!!
2's company had two birthday girls ally and Sarah..
Ally got the best answer of the night so good I'm not printing it....
But they had so many team members but most were not worth the admission money....
We're really s**t started well as they always do but finished up as the wee diddy team....
We ended up with a tie breaker between professor Vinny Davies and toon drunk Worzel.....
As the crow flies the distance between John O"groats and lands end ..as the crow flies
Professor Davies who is in fact English said 743 miles
Worzel who is from the planet zonked put 700 miles
Sarah Thomas from 2's company walked by and said it's just over 600 miles...the correct answer 603 miles . She's not as daft as she looks 😂
So yet again the bridesmaids were the first
And the winners were the gadgies...

It was a familiar story.... firestarters should have won....but bridesmaids yet again..and yes defeated by the Gadgy bastards...
The VESTALS got a creditable third,in an unusual turn of events the BURDS were leading alas they couldn't keep it going....the wee diddies were of course the commanders......they have made that position their own 😂... the general was so engrossed in the quiz ( or confused) at one point he lent to the right to impart some wisdom...only to realise his team were on his right!!! 😂
So Isobel of the BURDS was privvy to his wise words......

As Frankie Vallie said ...oh what a night!!!
Mobbed out....we had the return of the VESTALS legend that is wee Ann...the fool strength 2's company......and after some time HMS Glasgow...with know it all Hayden and know f**k all James!!!! Or foghorn we should call him..
A light hearted affair not too taxing on the assembled fans...just as well because there's some really stupid fekkers at this quiz...
No great surprise when the noisest team in the boozer finish as the wee diddy team... majestic emo's..aka HMS Glasgow....
However,most teams were in the mix..but it was a Worzel less gadgies that prevailed... Mac Vicky Maclean Wilkie and champagne Robert saw off 2's company and the BURDS...also rans were the commanders and the VESTALS
PYCR..oh such bad luck!! is the phrase that pays..
Three people got to the last or second last card before hearing the famous catchphrase...
They were .... Mac.... general George....Wilkie..
Aiye karamba...,..last up was Marion Donaldson I think but she was easy beat.. 😂

Regulars only this week and a very close run quiz it was....but I turned out to be old foes the gadgies and the firestarters at the end with the commanders..yes the commanders??!! Finishing third.....not too far behind....but it was bridesmaids again for you know who....yes Craig Vinny and Laurie and Pippa the dog lost out in the Wipeout round..so Worzel,Vicky, added another notch to their gunbelts!! 😂
The BURDS had wandered off track and were in the winners enclosure for some time until they were led away to their normal spot...ISH...the VESTALS wer ise champagne and s**te at the same time and we're really good also toyed with the lead early on...but the wee diddy team were the VESTALS...
No PYCR this week....back next week

THE PUB WAS STOUED OUT...
There was a tremendous buzz about the place...fool strength firestarters,mega strength commanders,Vicky leading the gadgies,the BURDS were the BURDS,twice a year appeared by crickey she can't handle her drink 😂😂😂😂😂
Marishas minions debuted..and we're hot for a while and then cold ...oh so cold lol...
The VESTALS were s**t but finished with a flurry yes John (slept with a DJ) and Edgar really brought their A GAME... WTAF?? ..they were absolutely s**t but finished second???
The wee diddies were the commanders...par for the course...this week's billy big baws were the firestarters 🥳😂😀😀🥳😂......
PYCR..£202 Was up for grabs...boy oh boy what a night...first up was Mac....one card away from glory...oh such bad luck....

THERE'S AN AIR OF UNCERTAINTY ABOUT THE PUB... HOWEVER....we just f**ked into next year... 😂 ...the winners were the gadgies... Worzel Mac Vicky Maclean were on top form. .. usual rivals the firestarters were depleted with only Vinnie Sam and Pippa the dog.....they were s**te.... 😂
The commanders were at mega strength....but no big surprise...they were the wee diddy team.. 😂😂😂
Mo,the general,Jambo,kendo, Angela,big John and Robert were absolutely pash!!!!!!!!!
The straight s of hommous were disappointing but they did have a cracking puppy with...😀😀😀
In an absolute shock...had the 2 's company team went at it full pelt they would have won the quiz...but a brilliant second place for the girls and Ryan......
PYCR A magnificent £104 raised in 10 minutes..bravo all....we had 4 or 5 attempts at winning the money...but oh........
