Musicians for Indy A new group aimed at providing musical support to the movement for Scottish Independence. Our aim is to network all over Scotland,and indeed beyond.

Musicians for Indy was formed by a group of like minded musicians in the wake of the referendum. Learning from our experiences of the referendum campaign and its immediate aftermath, Musicians for Indy's aim is to form a network of musicians who are willing to provide musical and technical support for the myriad of pro independence groups that have emerged since the referendum, and of course established ones, including political parties. Initially our focus will be to establish a weekly Open Mike session in the Yes Bar in Glasgow every Sunday afternoon, 3pm-7pm. These will begin on Sunday 23rd November. As well as providing musicians for events Musicians for Indy also aims to provide technical support including PA systems which can often make or break even the best organised event. Anyone interested in getting involved generally, or specifically in the Sunday Open Mike sessions should get in touch via facebook or email [email protected]
