Care to experience one of Glasgow’s most immaculate beer cellars? Pull pints in a century-old public house that’s worn many a veil? Do you just want to experience somewhere with a top of the range aircon and heating system? This isn’t for doors open day, this is for the once in a lifetime opportunity to enter the big leagues of stinkers, cuties and creamers!

We are looking for experienced staff once more, comfortable working alone, responsible for closing, opening and cash handling. 25-35 hours a week with a decent work/life balance.

Some of the gentler regulars for your feed to soften some bad news…

We will be closed during next week for much needed drainage work and a general upheaval to get ready for some pre-summer upgrades.

Will most likely return to limited service afternoon into evening during the week, with return to full service for the weekend! 🙏🏻

No service all of Monday and no Open Mic on Tuesday.

The blue moon is out and we are looking for another member of staff to add to the team before the Summer.

Do you have an average knowledge of drinks, controversial opinions about Lord of the Rings and know your way around a panini press and a steam wand? Maybe this could be a fit for you.

Looking for an experienced member of staff to be a keyholder, working a combo of days, nights and doubles, roughly 30-40 hours a week, while also comfortable working solo. Looking for someone flexible as we are pretty stacked with part timers at the moment.

The festive season is upon us…

1am closes every Friday and Saturday from tonight, as well as the 24th, 26th and the 31st. Closed 25th and the 1st, late open Boxing Day & 2nd Jan.

Hogmanay business this year same as usual, nae tickets, Malky on the music selection, late license and good folk. Come and go as you please.
Hopefully see some of you before end of the year!

Last open mic of the year on the 17th from 8:30 too.
Returns January 7th.

Inspired by the come one, come all, eclectic vibe of our humble little bar, our resident Hogmanay DJ Malcolm McKenzie (.anothersucker4agoodgroove), mostly (un)known for playing anything with a strong groove through his associations with Big Break Records, Groove Line Records, The Buff Club and Hustlin’, is delving in to all corners of his record collection to start a regular series of uploads that cover all sensibilities and bases.
