Pride House Glasgow returns in 2026 as the official LGBTIQ+ hub of the Commonwealth Games — a vibrant, inclusive and welcoming space at the heart of Glasgow celebrating equality, visibility, sport, culture and community.

Operating between 22nd July and 3rd August 2026, Pride House will provide a safe and accessible environment for LGBTIQ+ people, athletes, visitors, allies and local communities to come together during the Games.

Throughout the programme, visitors will be able to watch and engage with the Games together, attend community and cultural events, connect with others, access information and support, and celebrate the contribution of LGBTIQ+ people in sport and society.

Pride House aims to create an atmosphere that is positive, friendly, respectful and welcoming to everyone.

We’ll just leave this here - Thank you Scott

Hi Michael,

Just wanted to drop you a wee message.

My partner and I popped in on Saturday afternoon for a couple of drinks and I just wanted to say that the team were fantastic, especially considering how busy it was. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome.

After getting our first drinks from the bar and then taking a seat by the window, the team were quick to come round with the PocketTouch devices to check if we'd like another round. They also picked up on the little details, such as noticing we didn't use straws and ensuring our Gin & Tonics were served in tall glasses.

The atmosphere was brilliant, and we'll definitely be making it a regular stop whenever we're visiting Glasgow. We even managed to get a wee Kylie song request in too! 😊

Please pass on our thanks to the team; they were a credit to the venue.

Supporting Leathermen Scotland and embracing part of our community 🖤🖤🖤

On this day in 1989: The Leather Pride flag debuted.

Leather is a gay subculture heavily associated with kink and the B**M community, with leather bars typically frequented by ‘bears’ and older gay men.

The flag was designed by prominent leather community member Tony DeBlase in 1989, presenting the flag at the International Mr Leather Convention in Chicago.

It is now commonly used in Pride parades by the leather subculture, as well as partially being embraced by the B**M community.

Curious to know what the other Pride flags mean? Find out below.
