Formerly Kelvinside Parish Church, Òran Mór, Gaelic for ‘great melody of life’ or ‘big song’, is a thriving arts & entertainment venue in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. We offer a Victorian Bar and Whisky Bar, John Muir Room Restaurant and Brasserie Restaurant, Private Dining Room, Live Music venue, Night Club, and our stunning Auditorium with mural ceiling by Alasdair Gray. As well as hosting the now internationally recognised ‘A Play, A Pie and A Pint’ lunchtime theatre programme, Òran Mór also provides the perfect setting for Weddings, Private and Corporate Events. The Brasserie Restaurant uses Scottish produce wherever possible, freshly prepared by an in-house team of chefs. Bar meals are also served in the Whisky and Victorian Bars, incorporating the John Muir Room restaurant.

Òran Mór’s St Gregory’s food bank donation

Earlier this week we headed up Tesco with £2,500 for our big bi-annual donation to our local food bank, St Gregory’s. This money is raised by all of the lovely faces that come into Òran Mór and contribute to our donation buckets and raffle prizes. We owe you a massive thank you!

You too can donate to your local food bank including the following items;

Returning this festive season at Òran Mór is Morag Fullarton's 'It's a Wonderful Life... Mostly". From the writer and director behind smash hit shows Doris, Dolly & The Dressing Room Diva's, A Bottle of Wine and Patsy Cline and Casablanca: The Gin Joint Cut! 🎄✨
