NOTICE: I have been advised by City Property that Grier’s Public Bar is set to be demolished, with site prep starting Monday 5 May. The area will be fenced off, but pedestrian access will be maintained. A walkway will be formed along the front access route (marked in blue on the plan 👇).

Hello everyone. We’re back!

Glad to let you know we’ll be opening again on Wednesday 15th July at 11am but will have some temporary safety measures in place until further notice:

- There will be a ‘one way’ system with an ‘Entry’ and ‘Exit’ door in both the bar and the lounge.

- Sanitiser stations will be available throughout the pub.

- You will be required to leave your name, contact details and time of arrival upon arrival for contact tracing purposes.

- We have new temporary opening hours of 11am-10pm every day.

- No standing in the bar or lounge. Seating will be provided.

- No Bingo, Poker, Karaoke, Disco or Jukebox.

- Customers must adhere to social distancing.

- Read all customer notices.

- Be patient and cooperate with staff.

We look forward to welcoming you back and we can hopefully return to normal sooner rather than later!

Following recent government advice, we will unfortunately now be closing until further notice.

🦠 COVID-19 🦠

Starting 23/3/2020 we will be reducing our operating hours until further notice.

The Lounge will now be closed on a Thursday (No Karaoke or Bingo)

We will be closing at 10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

No change to Tuesdays or Saturdays at the moment.

We fully indend to return to normal operating hours once this is all over.

In the meantime we would like to thank our staff and of course our loyal customers for their support, cooperation and patience during this difficult time.

We will update our page if anything changes so keep an eye out.

Just a quick status update to let everyone know we are open as normal.

We’ve had a few phonecalls this morning asking if we’re open. Someone’s told everyone we’re closed for 3 months!
