The Stables in Kirkintilloch is a charming country pub with a rich history dating back to the days of the Forth and Clyde Canal. Originally built to cater to watermen and horses, this historic establishment offers a truly unique dining experience. Step inside and you'll discover a cosy inn where boatmen and passengers could enjoy delicious meals, while on the other side, stables and a hayloft provided comfort for hardworking horses. Today, The Stables delights guests with a menu filled with hearty favourites and seasonal dishes, complemented by a well-stocked bar featuring cask ales, fine wines, and British gin.
