❤️ IMPORTANT NOTICE, SHAWLANDS ❤️

After 18 incredible years, we’re closing our doors for a short while. From Monday 14th September, The James Tassie will be closed.

The James Tassie has been more than just a pub it’s been a place where we’ve celebrated the small moments and the big occasions together. From birthdays and after-work drinks to tense matchdays and unforgettable nights, we’ve shared so many special memories.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our guests and to the local community for your loyalty, friendship and support over the years. It really has meant so much to us.

🍻 We’d love you to join us from 6pm on Sunday 13th September for one final ‘cheers’.

While it’s a farewell, this is only the end of one chapter.

After a brief closure, the venue will be reopening under new management and will continue serving the Shawlands community for many more years to come. The newish team look forward to welcoming you all back very soon.
