Unfortunately another much loved regular of The Chimneys, Alison Fletcher, has passed away below is a message from her family regarding how to pay your respects. I'm sure everyone is thinking of Crawford, Chris & Alex at this terrible time.
It is with heavy hearts that we are writing this to say that the amazing fight for life that Alison had over the last few years has come to an end..........her courage, strength and determination was overwhelming and we are all very grateful that we had her in our lives for the time we did..........
Ali is now riding down the highway and she’s going to a show...........with the sound of the drums beating in her heart............
Her funeral will take place on Thursday 26th November, and due to COVID restrictions, there are strict rules in place and therefore no one is able to congregate at the crematorium.
We know however how much Alison meant to many people and would want an opportunity to pay their respects. We will be driving past the Two Chimneys pub, 163, Main Street, Uddingston at 10.30am if you would like to radiate out from there, socially distanced...........the ask is you have the happiest memory of her in your mind and feel free to Salute her.
Ali was exceptionally organised and asked that if anyone was considering flowers, to instead, give a donation to the Beatson Cancer Charity who looked after her so well.

We’ve all been touched (never too much) by Alison and we should comfort ourselves that she’s in the Shakin’Hand with a 42 decibel rockin’ band
Love from Crawford, Chris and Alex ###
