Important update from The Old Glais Inn

Tomorrow (Thursday) will sadly be our final night of trading at The Old Glais Inn — a little sooner than expected, but we’re already busy moving and need a bit more time to get everything ready for the next chapter.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year and a half — it’s been an incredible journey, and we’ve truly loved being part of this community.

We’re now getting ready to open The George in Cwmtwrch, where we’ll be welcoming you from 5pm Friday 7th November!

We’ll always have fond memories of our time at The Old Glais and we will miss all the familiar faces.
Your support has meant the world to us.

We’re thrilled to share that The Old Glais Inn has been awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful guests for your loyalty, kind words, and continued support. You’ve helped us grow, improve, and make The Old Glais Inn the warm, welcoming place it became — we couldn’t have done it without you. 💛

And as one chapter ends, another begins — we look forward to seeing you soon at The George, opening on the 7th of November.

A New Chapter Begins! 🍂

It’s with mixed emotions that we announce we’ll be leaving the Old Glais Inn on Sunday 2nd November. It’s been an unforgettable time and we’re so grateful for all the memories and amazing moments shared with you all!

But don’t worry—this isn’t goodbye! We’re excited to let you know that we’ll be moving to the George IV, Cwmtwch opening Friday 7th November (From 5pm). A new space, but still the same warm welcome, great company, and fantastic food & drink.

We hope to see you all there and continue making memories together! 🥂
