This year’s BEAK x Other Half Brewing TIPA is on & tasting mega! 🤪

We’ve also a nice little selection of beers from California’s Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. fresh on too… 🙌🏻

Hot samosas are fresh on the bar, we’re fully stocked with TheYolker_ eggs & The Greekster is here from 5pm! 🇬🇷

Well it’s certainly Saison weather 🥵 & this brand new 2.8% “Table Saison” from Brasserie Dupont Tourpes is going down a treat!

Brewed with Dupont’s house yeast, it features many of the characteristics of their classic Saison, but comes in at half the abv, so it’s perfect for days like this! 😎

It’s also organic & gluten free! ✌🏻

It’s a beautiful morning here in the village! 😎

Couple of beer things happening this weekend…
Friday is BEAK x Other Half Brewing GREENS DAY & we will have the highest rated TIPA in the UK pouring from opening…
We are also having a wee Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. showcase, so expect to see plenty beers from one of the OG “craft” brewers pouring over the weekend… 🍻

On Thursday night are showing Bart Schriver’s acclaimed “The North”…
The film will start at 7pm & the air con will most certainly be on! 🪭

Other things happening this week are the Whispers In Wool craft group, which meets tonight at 6pm in the snug & Sally Di Pietro which is upstairs on Friday mornings… Drop-ins welcome on the 10.15am session for toddlers or DM their page for info on booking for baby sessions… 👶🏻

It’s Felt Nowt comedy week!

Tickets can be bought from the bar or via Felt Nowt’s website…
Doors open at 7.30pm & show starts at 8pm…

This is very likely to be the last one until autumn too as we always take a break over summer for festivals etc. so don’t miss out!
(We may try & squeeze one in next month for our Birthday but this is very much a “maybe” at the mo…)

Third Thursday of the month also means that The Greekster will be here serving up the finest authentic Greek street food from 5pm! 🇬🇷

Numbers will be on sale in the bar from 6.30pm…

Tomorrow afternoon our friends Paninaro Sud Africano will be here from 3pm & tomorrow evening the monthly Ryton Chess Club will meet in the snug from 7pm… All players welcome. ♟️

We’re a launch venue for the first ever cask beer, which will be available from opening at 2pm tomorrow… 🙌🏻

And on Friday we’re part of the nationwide launch of two limited NZ hopped versions of Steady Rolling Man, which will be pouring alongside the original…
