Message to all the local residents:
Honestly, we don’t even know where to begin. The overwhelming amount of support we've received has been amazing!❤️
We are so lucky to have such a supportive and caring community!🥹

Opening the doors of Ruth Ribbon Hub for the very first time was a huge moment for us, and we genuinely cant put into words how grateful we all are for you.💖
Seeing the building full of people talking, laughing, and meeting up with friends — was something very special for us!

It’s our first time operating a pub and the amount of understanding and support you all showed is what's keeping us all going!❤️
We know we have alot to learn and with the incredible number of people who came to help us, we were able to overcome moments of confusion, and times when our service wasn’t as quick or as organised as we would have liked.

And most importantly if there’s something you think we could do better, please tell us!😁
We won't automatically look at a critical comment as something negative. We will take it positively, learn from it and ask ourselves how we can do better for you all.
To everyone who has already left suggestions and advice — thank you!☺️

But we cannot stress enough how grateful we are for you all. You have shown us how Wrekenton is a big family who all look out for eachother and that you should be proud of!❤️

After being closed for so long, we can finally say it… Ruth Ribbon Hub – Pub & Café opens TOMORROW! 🎉❤️

📅 FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST
⏰ DOORS OPEN AT 3:00PM

We know the weather isn’t exactly gonna give us the warmest welcome tomorrow, but a bit of rain isn’t going to stop us.🌧️ We’ve worked so hard to get to this point!😁 We’ll be pushing through whatever the weather throws at us and we hope you can too!❤️
So grab your umbrella, and bring your friends and family to come and help us celebrate the beginning of this new chapter! 🎉🥳

Since announcing that we’re bringing the former Seven Stars back to life, we’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the lovely comments, memories and support!❤️

Thank you SO much to everyone who has followed, shared, commented or simply wished us well — it really does mean a lot to us, especially as we get closer to opening the doors.😊

We’ve also seen people asking us to include some part of the Seven Stars in our identity, and you may notice that our logo intentionally holds 7 stars!🍻
We understand and respect the history and wanted to keep a special connection, while creating something new and welcoming for the future.🥳

⭐ SOMETHING SPECIAL IS COMING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY! ⭐
After being closed for many years, the doors of the former Seven Stars will soon be opening once again!❤️
We know this place holds so many memories for people in the local community, and we’re incredibly excited (and a little nervous!😊) to be the new owners bringing this much-loved place back to life.
📅 We’re planning to open on FRIDAY THE 28TH OF AUGUST!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing photos, updates, opening information and a few surprises ahead of our reopening day.🎉

We’re also giving it a fresh new chapter as:

A place for everyone!♾️

Our vision is for Ruth Ribbon Hub to be more than just a pub.
