Introducing our September Flight of the Month!

We're waving a fond farewell to Chinon, but not to the Loire Valley, as we head down the river towards little-known Saint Pourcain.

This tiny region, around the village of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule, is located in the Allier département in the centre of France and is as close geographically to Burgundy and the Rhône as it is to the Loire. The Sioule is a tributary of the Allier, which in turn is a tributary of the Loire and, for reasons that date back to rivers being the principal thoroughfares of commerce, it is therefore attributed to the Loire valley for w**e purposes!

This trio is very much last of the summer w**es - a fresh, crisp white, a quaffable rosé, and the juiciest of juicy reds.

As always, £15 per flight available throughout the month or whilst stocks last.

We're going to be tasting six w**es, including this beautiful Amphora aged blend, whilst dispelling some common misconceptions about orange w**es.

New by the glass list starts today.

We're loving this menu already - think crisp Picpool, a blend of four different Pinot grapes from Alsace, a rare Jura Trousseau, and chilled Beaujolais from St Amour.

We're also adding two brand new alcohol-free w**es. Unlike most zero w**es, LeVin is not de-alcoholised. Instead the w**emaker has used a homemade yeast strain in fermentation which does not produce alcohol. This is a completely new way of making alcohol-free w**e and results in a much better drink!
