⭐ 5-STAR FOOD HYGIENE RATING! ⭐

We’re absolutely buzzing to announce that, following a recent inspection by Gateshead Council, The Cannon Gateshead has been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating for our kitchen and bar! 👏🍻

We know that food at The Cannon might have come as a bit of a surprise to some of you 😂 But this is another step in showing you exactly what we’re trying to achieve here.

We’re not just here to keep things ticking over. We’re here to change The Cannon for the better, build something we can all be proud of, and give every single customer the best experience possible — whether you’re popping in for a pint or come in day in day out.

We’re also well aware that we’re not the finished article just yet! We still have plenty of renovations in the pipeline and are currently awaiting the necessary permissions to get work moving in certain areas of the building.

These things take time, but we’re making progress, one step at a time. And today, we’re celebrating another little win on the journey towards what we want The Cannon to become. ❤️

Five stars for food hygiene. More improvements on the way. And plenty more to come!

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far. We’re only getting started! 👊
