So, last weeks Halloween Quiz raised £175 for those Trinity Girls Brass Band girls. They came in tonight and were rather chuffed as they’ve a few things coming up that’ll cost them a few bob.
Well done everyone who contributed their hard earned pennies, you did good 👍 😊

A Date For Your Diaries!
Charity quiz, and raffle, Thursday 6th June. From 9pm.
80 years ago on 5th & 6th June 1944, The D-Day landings took place.
So we thought we’d raise some money for the Royal British Legion. 👍
A bit of a laugh, a drink and a quiz for a good cause. Sounds alright 😊
Oh! Vera Lynn & Glen Miller might be involved 🎶🎶

Louise Taberner-Rowlands handed over the money this evening from the tombola that was held on Sunday here at the pub. Proceeds went to The Trinity Girls Band. £325 in total 😊

SUNDAY 28th JANUARY from 3pm we’ll be having a tombola. All proceeds to The Trinity Girls Brass Band. They depend on donations to support themselves and are a rare asset to our area.

It’s at this time of year that we remember a previous occupant of this pub. John Edward Littler. He died in France during the 1st World War on 4th May 1918, aged 30, just 6 months before the end of the war.

It seems our friends at The Big Bog Brewery in Speke, Liverpool have done rather well for themselves. Padi won Bronze in the Speciality Light Beer section. It’ll be on here sometime over the weekend 😊
