Well, its been almost a year since I posted! Its been an intentional thing and I will be continuing to do so going forward. However, I would just like to say that 2023 was amazing. So many beautiful weddings and I am so grateful to all the couples who trusted me with their special day. I've been asked about weddings and of course, if you contact me I would be more than happy to be your celebrant. I just won't be posting about it. Funerals continue to be my focus and what a privileged position that puts me in. Thank you - I never take it for granted x

Always an excellent service. Tim goes above and beyond and provides the most beautiful service booklets that always bring about great comments. Through my job as a funeral celebrant I rely on Tim on a regular basis and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him

I always tell other people to do what is right for them - turns out its not that easy!! However, after much thought I have decided that due to the wonderful partnerships I've made with so many funeral directors, that this will become my full time focus. All weddings booked will of course be honoured but I won't be taking any further bookings. Thank you to all my incredible couples, past and future. Its been amazing ❤

How I'm looking forward to meeting Joanna and Steven in the next few weeks. Their ceremony is at Oulton Hall in May and I can't wait to get to know them properly and create something perfect for them. Joanna are you a little excited?!!!

I don't just rock up 15 minutes before your ceremony and then dash straight off. When you book me you've got me for that day or as long as you need me. Early there, good natter with the groom and his party. Make sure he's got the rings! Time spent with you, sharing a bit of the excitement in seeing you get ready, answering any last minute questions, calming any jitters. Being there to greet your guests, watch you walk down the aisle and give you a great, personal and unique ceremony. A celebrant is a personal alternative, its about cultivating a relationship that genuinely lasts way after the service. What a great job I've got!

I've done a fair few wedding ceremonies at Oulton Hall. The wedding co-ordinator Caroline and her team are just fab. Glorious grounds, a very nice champagne bar (thank you!) and a lovely comfortable feel in such amazing surroundings. Ring them and go take a look around or check out their regular wedding open days ❤

Bit of exciting news. Jenny and Clive are contestants on Ant and Dec's Limitless Win on ITV on Saturday 21st. They actually went down to London to film the day before their wedding and had to keep it a secret (BUT I KNEW!!!!). Lordy it was exciting. I know what happened but my lips are sealed!!

So I think this equates to me being the celebrant for a couple of celebrities, doesn't it??

Goldsborough Hall is honestly the loveliest of wedding venues. I had the happiest of times here in 2022 with two couples and each ceremony was spectacular. My advice would be to go and have a wander around (definitely try the afternoon tea!) and find out why this hidden little gem is so good

So I've had four babies born in the last year after wedding ceremonies (not me personally of course!). One more to arrive very shortly (that's you Emma and Kieran!) What a thrill it is that I get to hear this news. Its like being a part of something very special that lasts long after the confetti has settled and the champagne drunk. Your wedding day is only the start of a brilliant life together, whether thats starting a family, continuing to raise a family, stepfamilies, travel, adventure, confirmation of your love. So thank you for letting me share in it ❤
