Look at this absolute beauty!! Absolutely everyone has loved our hanging baskets this year! It’s going to be sad to see them go but they’ve done us proud! Before they do though, let us tell you about Tom Reynolds. He is the mastermind behind these beauties and has been advising us on all things plants for both our pubs for a very long time now! We couldn’t possibly recommend him highly enough 🥰. Go check him out 😉.

Ok so who was paying attention last night to Strictly Come Dancing? Did you see our beautiful pub featured as the backdrop for ♡ Dani Dyer-Bowen ♡ & Nikita Kuzmin to meet for the first time as partners?! It certainly brightened up our week watching & meeting the crew of BBC Strictly and was even lovelier to receive emails & WhatsApp messages from everyone afterwards to say how much they all loved the pub 🥰. Can’t believe our cameos were cut though…..🙄😂😂.

Aaawww the day has finally come 😭. Our Chrissie is flying the nest and moving on to pastures new ♥️. Chrissie has been at the Queens Head for a very very long time and it absolutely is not going to be the same without her 😕. However-for Chrissie-this means the following: the ability to own a white shirt and keep it clean for longer than 5 minutes (b**r taps). Wear ‘thongs’ all day every day now (Aussie word for flip flops 😉), be zen vibes only 24/7, and eat breakfast lunch and dinner at normal people’s times. . Good luck maaaate (Aussie accent). Last week we had the pleasure in hosting Stonebond on their annual charity bike ride. We were one of three stops on their long journey and welcomed them with coffees, hot nibbles and delicious cakes! Introducing the Queens Head Rounders Team, made up of elite sportsmen & women, pictured at their training ground in Fyfield. Gin Tons & Dominoes pizza were present, as was every piece of tape available to hold our Imogen together ☠️😂. The best evening with the best team ❤️.
