The best news ever from our Treasurer, Linda Hill today. Well done Linda! 👏
It might be raining today but the sun is shining on Furness Vale. At the beginning of this year our Community Centre was faced with an impossible situation. All 3 of the roofs need replacing. We all work hard as a Committee to keep this building in good repair but this situation was beyond us. No way could we raise the sum of money needed to do this. (£23000). In desperation I applied to the National Lottery Community Fund who I might add have helped us in the past and I am happy to say that they have awarded us with £18000. All I can say is thank you so so much for once again coming to the aid of a Community in need.
