From Tank to Cask 🍺

There’s something satisfying about seeing a brew reach another milestone in its journey. Racking beer into casks, ready for conditioning before making its way to pubs, bars, and beer lovers across the region.

Racking is a crucial stage in the brewing process, ensuring every cask is filled with the care and consistency needed to deliver the perfect pint. It’s where all the hard work from the brewing hall starts taking shape for the final product.

We’ve become aware of a few rumours circulating recently regarding takeovers and changes in ownership.

We’d like to reassure everyone that Ennerdale Brewery remains independently owned and operated by the same family owners as always. It’s very much business as usual, with the same team, the same values, and the same commitment to brewing great beer and providing a warm welcome at the Brewery Tap.

There are no changes planned that we’re aware of, and we look forward to continuing to do what we’ve always done best for our customers, staff, and community.

Gone but definitely not forgotten 🍋

This weekend’s lemon meringue tart flew out. Sharp citrus filling, and that perfectly torched meringue on top… paired with a scoop of lakes vanilla for good measure.
