Welcome to The Fox! 🦊

A warm welcoming, family run pub, we are truly proud of! 😁

Located in the heart of Fremington 🧡 bringing the community together since 2013. We reopened back in May 2013 after a complete refurbish to the interior as well a fresh look to the exterior of the building from which was previously known as 'The Fox & Hounds'. Renaming the business as 'The Fox' was decided due to it

being a new business it needed something different but at the same time keeping it familiar! We offer an Indian Restaurant & Takeaway - are foods are all cook fresh & made to order by authentic Indian chefs (nothing is from a packet) so please be aware during busy times there may be a small wait but trust us the wait is well worth it. A speciality added to our Indian menu is our range of Tawa dishes which you wont find in any other local Indian Restaurants. They are best served when ordered from the restaurant - but we wont give anything else away, you will have to come & try the experience for yourself! We also offer many great nights of entertainment from live music, quiz nights, weekly poker tournaments, kids events plus much more - keep a look out on our page for upcoming events. Also, not forgetting our Coffee & Cake Mornings which run every Wednesday 9.30am - 12pm serving delicious homemade cakes, freshly ground coffees& a selection of teas. When driving from Instow/Bideford, please do not be put off by this sign.

The Fox 🦊, Fremington Quay, McBains, Early Birds, Headlines, Han Court Chinese, Graylings, & other local Fremington businesses all remain OPEN & accessible as normal during the road closure over the next couple months!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: There is no access AFTER the Fremington Quay junction towards Barnstaple.

If you still wish to visit us from Barnstaple, no problem… Simply use the Old Bideford Road or the Link Road around to Instow - we are still easy to reach & OPEN as normal - just not via the B3233 road.

🚗 🅿️ Parking at The Fox
• Large public car park to the rear of the pub.
• When travelling from Bideford, take the first right after passing our premises, then take the first right again to access the car park.
• Limited parking is also available in the lay-by directly outside the building.

🚴 Cycling to us?
We have a bike rack at the front of the premises where you can securely lock your bike.
