NEW DATE CONFIRMED

It is with massive regret I am having to announce that the Skerryvore & Mànran double header show which was scheduled to take place on 3rd December 2022 has had to be rescheduled.

This was unfortunately completely unavoidable as the venue for the show, The Reid Hall in Forfar is continuing to be used as a COVID-19 vaccination centre until mid 2023. We did everything we could to try and maintain the show on the scheduled date but nothing was logistically possible.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused, however the show has been rescheduled for SATURDAY 16TH DECEMBER 2023
All tickets already purchased for the original date in 2020 and the rescheduled dates in 2021/2 are still valid for the new date in 2023.

I apologise again and myself and the whole team cannot wait to welcome everyone back to Forfar as soon as possible.

IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!

It’s 5 years today since our first show under the EPL Events name.
I want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has made every show memorable. Thank you to all the performers, the audiences and our phenomenal team of volunteers!

I’m absolutely gutted we’re not celebrating tonight in the Reid Hall with Skerryvore, Mànran & Cody Feechan. It would have been a perfect way to mark half a decade of not only our annual but all of our shows.

We’ve got everything crossed that by this time next year we’ll back and ready to party hard!

Thank you everyone once again from the bottom of my heart. Have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year everyone.

Here’s a throw back to happier times. Last night marked 2 years since this brilliant finale with Skerryvore, Hò-rò & Runrig’s Iain Bayne.
What a night. What a show.
We will party again, we will make the Reid Hall shake again, WE WILL LET THE MUSIC PLAY AGAIN! I promise!

Until then, , look after yourself and each other.

HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS XMAS!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is safe and well and getting through what has been a terrible year for everyone around the world. Some more than others have been hit both medically and economically more than others. It’s heartbreaking to see so many people losing loved ones and so many more losing their livelihood to this horrendous pandemic.

Now more than ever everyone needs to come together to support their community. Money is tight for most right now but it’s none existent for many more. Local charities such as Angus Foodbank are feeling the strain and need help with donations of food & supplie or cash donations.
One of our regular volunteers Ross (mainly found behind the bar or singing at our comedy nights with his band Funk & Disorderly) has for the last few weeks been organising collections of food or funds to donate to the local foodbank in Forfar. He’s done a fantastic job so far and I’d love to help him make his last donation before Christmas as big as possible!

Every year since we’ve started doing shows we’ve made donations to local charities from the proceeds of the shows we’ve run but sadly this year as we’ve not run any shows our ability to make sizeable donations just isn’t there.

EPL Events will start the ball rolling by pledging £100 towards this donation.

If you would like to donate literally ANY amount you can then please donate via PayPal, sending your donation to:

Any and all donations will be hugely well received and appreciate. If you would like to donate food or supplies, this is also very welcome too. Send us a PM and we can arrange for this to happen.

Big shout out to Ross for his amazing work so far for a great cause, helping people less fortunate in our local community. Proud of you Ross x
