The Cat & Custard Pot, Paddlesworth We are an original Battle of Britain Pub. Small, traditional and quirky!

The Cat and Custard Pot is situated in the Hamlet of Paddlesworth , near Hawkinge, nestled in the picturesque countryside of the North Downs. It is within 15 minutes drive from the seaside town of Folkestone and is hosted by Jeane and John. The Cat was the main public house used by pilots and other personnel who were stationed at the once nearby Hawkinge Battle of Britain airfield. The pub itself

contains a varied collection of aviation memorabilia and photographs that represent the history of the area during the last 100 years.

It has been brought to our attention this morning that on Google it says we are PERMANENTLY CLOSED …..why does Google allow a member of the public to change any information about someone’s businesss?! 😡 Who thinks they have the right to change someone’s business information?!
We may be open limited hours and we may not be serving food (apart from the occasional Funeral Wake or Birthday Party) but despite this we are still open when so many pubs are being forced to close in this awful economical climate. On that note, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who continue to support us ☺️
