🎶 Meet Double Helix – a talented 5-piece band of 14- and 15-year-olds who’ve been rocking together for around 1 year! Practicing weekly at Upbeat Rock Academy with Ian Hooper, they’ve built not only a wide-ranging sound but also an incredible friendship. From open mic nights to the huge stage at the Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On, where they played to an amazing crowd of 25,000 people, these young musicians are already making waves and loving every moment on their journey. 🌟

Well guys it’s Buck-Fest week! This will be our fifth time raising money for the amazing Brian House children’s Charity!

Doors will be opening from 12pm. We’re providing 12 hours of local and fantastic music. We will be taking cash and card on the door.

We’ve got a few new acts this year including an originals band “The Cherished times” fronted by local singer songwriter Kev Scott.

Please share and help us get this fantastic event as busy as possible and help us to help these lovely children that need our help.

Fantastic news for Buck-Fest!

We’re delighted to announce that we have confirmed our stage sponsor for 2025 and it’s a big one! We’ve managed to land sponsorship of the biggest competition company there is “Elite Competions”
Elliot went to school with owner Alex and they also used to be in a band together too! Alex used to sing and El drum in a band called “spilt Milk” . After a quick chat , Alex was more than happy to help out our little festival and sponsor the stage for us which will be going straight into the pot for Brian House!

Good morning Buck-Fest followers!
I have some great news! The artist list for this year is now complete! We have some of our Buck-fest regulars playing and also we have several new acts! There’s lots of music genres being covered this year including some of the following;

•Classic Rock
•Punk Rock
•Indie
•originals bands x2 😍
•Golden oldies

We have some acoustic acts and also some unplugged style acoustic bands as well as fully live and loud bands 🥰 . We also have a new band who’s first gig it will be on the day featuring four well known faces from the local music scene to look forward to! Spread the word and spread the love! Let’s enjoy live music and help these children at Brian House.

So ladies and gents! I can confirm we have some new bands on this year at Buck-fest as well as some of our regular guys! This also includes some bands playing their own orignal music which is a first for us!

Ladies and Gents, on July 28th I've organised a last minute gig at The Rossall Tavern, Fleetwood.

This is Due to not being able to do Buck-Fest this year.

This is in memory of our late musician friends Gary Ramsbottom and the recent loss of Mick Kerr.

The event is free of charge but there will be charity buckets on site so please come and join us and give what you can. As always the money will be going to local charity "Brian House"

The event starts at 1pm and finishes at 6pm. Please find the acts and a rough time slot guide in the picture.
