The new autumn menu has landed at The Heron on the Lake and, while we could tell you about all the lovely new starters and mains… we think we all know why you’re really here.

"We rented the den last minute due to weather changes for our engagement party, Oscar the owner allowed us to host our engagement party in the den for a small fee of which got reimbursed at the end due to our spend. The night was unforgettable, we had 20+ people standing/sitting in the den, was allowed to decorate how we liked as well as bring our own speaker and host presentations on the TV. I couldn’t recommend this enough, we was able to keep everything just below 3 figures including the buffet for 20 people as well as drinks all night - the staff was very accommodating and the buffet included veggie options which accommodated for our halal/vegetarian. Can’t fault the staff, thank you all so much for hosting one of our most memorable nights. ~ Rosie & Jason"

Our kitchen will be closing at 7.30pm and the bar will close at 9pm while our team takes some time for training on our exciting new menu.

We’re looking forward to getting everyone up to speed and can’t wait for you to come in and try the new dishes from tomorrow.
