Another fantastic days Golf at Edenmore Estate Golf Club for our 8th Outing of the Year. For some of us, the carvery was the highlight of the day (was some feed to be fair) 😃

A good few of our society members are also for Tullamore, Port Arlington and the Heritage this week for the society captains annual 3 day golf trip - that’s sure to be great craic with plenty of brilliant golf and I’m sure a few pints as well 😁😁

🏌️‍♂️⛳️ The Perfect Pint Golf Society 26 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

On Sunday 9th of August, our Golf Society travelled to Farnham Estate Golf Club in Cavan for their 7th outing of the year ⛳️

With the greens freshly cut, the rain starting to ease off and a few jokes and jibes ahead of the first tee off, there was nothing missing…apart from one thing….timmy decided to pull a no show….very disappointing!! Timmy will say it’s because he had other matters at hand that morning, however, there are rumours going round he was just too nervous to share a buggy with our very own Mr.Rice….we’ll let you decide which is the real reason 😂😂

A beautiful course with very well positioned (and needed 😂) red stakes, and some challenging holes, Farnham is certainly a course we will revisit again in the future. ⛳️😍

After a great days golf, it was last years golfer of the year, James “ducky” Colhoun who came out on top with a very impressive 38pts 👏

Runner up, was our society captain, Scotty, with 36pts, followed closely in 3rd place by Davy Willis who also had 36pts👏👏
