Yesterday, Harper Inns celebrated the end of summer! ☀️🍻
All our venues closed for the day so our brilliant teams could come together, let their hair down and celebrate everything they’ve achieved this summer.
We started with garden games at the King William, including the fiercely contested venue tug-of-war. After many rounds, the King William came out on top, proving that, on this occasion, it wasn’t brawn that won the day, but brains and a fabulous technique! 🏆
We then headed inside for live music from the wonderful Freya White and Roger and the No Ones, followed by some unforgettable karaoke performances. Keep an eye on our venues’ pages, because some truly fabulous videos may be making an appearance…
Pilgrim Fathers manager Cai and Cheryl, our fabulous King William front of house legend who will soon be joining the Pilgrim Fathers, were undoubtedly the most proficient with the microphone! 🎤
It sounds clichéd, but seeing people from different venues working together, laughing together and hugging each other really does make Harper Inns feel like a family. Admittedly, sometimes a slightly dysfunctional one, but aren’t they all? 😉
It was a fabulous day and evening, and we’re so glad our teams had the opportunity to celebrate together.
All our venues are open as normal from 12pm today, and we hope to see you there. We promise there aren’t too many sore heads… ❤️
