The Shipwright's Arms at Hollowshore has been a pub for over 300 years and much of it has not changed very much in all that time. It is family run and we serve real ales from the cask, and a selection of food much of which is home made. BANK HOLIDAY OPENING

Opening hours for the Bank Holiday:

Sat: 12-9 Food served 12-3 and 6-8
Sun: 12-8 Food served 12-4
Mon: 12-6 Food served 12-3
Tue: 12-7 No food
(If we are busy, we may stay open longer for drinks later than the stated hours).

We will have the bouncy castle, (parental supervision), on Sunday and Monday.

Also live music from Thomas Goldsmith on Sunday and Monday 2-5.
Thomas is an up and coming acoustic and vocal performer, covering a wide range of genres, plus his own compositions.

The Shipwright’s has been around for a lot of years. It’s still serving Kentish ales straight from the cask and home made traditional pub grub.
The interior has changed over time, but it retains it’s ‘old world’ charm and unique features. As one customer put it, “it’s like a museum, a must visit place if you want to experience how pubs used to be.”
Our garden isn’t pristine and that’s by choice, since we believe that the local wildlife deserve a space to thrive.
