Yiayias at The Fox Announces Closure After Six Amazing Years
Yiayias at The Fox in Lower Bourne, Farnham will sadly be closing its doors at close of play on Sunday 11th May 2025.
After 6 incredible years of trading at The Fox, we have been privileged to serve our wonderful customers and be part of such a supportive and vibrant community. From the very beginning, Yiayias at The Fox has been filled with laughter, unforgettable memories and of course, sharing our Yiayias food with family, friends, and neighbours.
Over the past year, we’ve taken time to review the business especially in light of the current economic climate, rising costs, and other challenges affecting small businesses across the UK. After careful consideration and discussions with Greene King about the lease, we were unfortunately unable to reach a workable agreement to continue trading from The Fox.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to close Yiayias at The Fox. We will be contacting all customers with future bookings directly.
Looking ahead at our food-lead business, our strategy will focus on a smaller restaurant business model and we will be looking to identify a new site in or very close to Farnham as soon as possible.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has dined with us, celebrated with us, watched the footy with us and supported us over the years. It has been an absolute privilege to serve the community and we will truly miss the many friendly faces that have made Yiayias at The Fox such a special place. My Yiayia (Grandma) would have been so proud that her recipes have continued to live on, and I want to thank you all on her behalf for all the support you have given us.
While this chapter is coming to a close, it’s not goodbye it’s simply until we meet again. We will continue to welcome customers at our other Yiayias sites, where we look forward to serving you the same authentic Greek & Cypriot flavours and warm hospitality.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the full tables and full hearts. Here’s to the next adventure!
