It is with great sadness that I have been asked to post that Peter Durman passed away on Sunday .

I’m sure that he will be remembered fondly by many of the staff , committee & members who knew him over his many years at the club , which he spent there in many different capacities.

Peter was a permanent fixture of the liberal club & south street for longer than anyone I know.
With a cheeky comment , a witty response & sometimes a grumpy good morning, he was always a lovely gentlemen.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
Rest in peace Peter 🖤

From Monday May 17th we will be allowed to open without the 10pm Curfew. 🥳🥳
Saturday 22nd will be our official party night in our new club.

To all our wonderful members , we know this year has been awful for all of us . We thank you for all your support during these crappy times.
Here’s to hoping 2021 sees us open more than we are closed 😜.

Dear members.

Unfortunately due to the new Tier 2 covid restrictions , where you can only drink alcohol with a substantial meal , we will be unable to re-open.
All we can do is apologise to our members & hope you will still be there to support us when we can re-open whenever that may be.
We will update the page with any news when it comes.
We hope you all stay safe & enjoy the festive season as much as is possible under these conditions.
