📣 WE’RE RECRUITING! 📣

Due to a much valued member of our team moving out of the area, we’re looking for someone lovely to join us at The Hook & Glove.

Our pub continues to go from strength to strength with fantastic support from our customers and some fabulous reviews, so we’re looking for the right person to become part of our wonderful, friendly team.

Up to 20 hours per week.

The role will include:
• Regular weekday lunchtime shifts
• Weekend availability
• A regular Saturday evening shift

We’re ideally looking for a mature, experienced and reliable person who is looking for a permanent, ongoing role. Due to the weekday daytime hours and regular weekend commitment, this position is unlikely to suit students or those looking for temporary work.

If you’re friendly, confident with customers, reliable and enjoy working as part of a close knit team, we would love to hear from you.

An update for this week at The Hook & Glove…

Tomorrow (Thursday) we’ll be closed from 12–5pm while we attend a hospitality event.

We’ll be back open from 5pm for drinks only, so come and join us for your Thursday evening tipple! 🍺🍷

🍽️ FRIDAY – OUR CLASSIC MENU IS BACK!

After a fantastic run of our summer BBQ evenings, our Classic Menu is available Friday with all your pub favourites back in the kitchen.

🥩 SATURDAY – STEAK NIGHT

Steak Night continues this Saturday, running alongside our Classic Menu.

This week we have some beautiful fillet steaks and ribeye steaks served with all the trimmings 😋

If steak isn’t your thing, you still have our full Classic Menu to choose from.

We’re looking forward to a lovely weekend.
