Small update after the fire

We're still waiting on the major work to be carried out but there's been an advancement. The national grid are reconnecting Cjs with power , yay ! We will be back serving some fantastic local produce, hopefully not in the to distant future

A little voluntary work today for Riverside Support Service .
I Love cooking for these wonderful people.

Today's simple menu was a delicious Chicken Ballotine with a Pork and herb stuffing, a stunning vegetable risotto & fresh Asparagus finish with pan jus.
Followed by a baked chocolate slice with homemade strawberry compote &ice cream

I love teaching the young ones, if i can't do it at work I'll do it at home.
Curtis has been a super star in the kitchen today, he'll make a super star chef one day.

A day cleaning some of our silverware we've taken home. We have to salvage what we can, Its hard work but due to the price of cutlery, it's well worth it 👌

Week four of our favourite places to grab a fantastic Sunday roast and a bite to eat . This week we nominate The Working boat @ the Greenbank hotel . Set in a fantastic location overlooking the the sea and harbour with a great selection of wines, beers and ales. A proper friendly place that also means a huge amount to me. Having trained at the Greenbank hotel under Nigel Gs ownership for many years, also working along side Nick hodges and many other great chefs .
