My last mini me is leaving me today for university 🥹
That quiet little 14-year-old who first started working with me has grown into such a huge part of everything I’ve built.
From helping me create La Mar, to looking after The Beach alongside Millie, Emilia has been there through so much of the journey.
And now they’re all abandoning me 😂
Millie has gone back for her second year at uni, Evie has disappeared off travelling for two months — something I’m so incredibly proud of her for doing. Watching her have the confidence to pack her bags, go off and see the world and have her own adventure makes me so proud, even if I’d rather she was still here working but she will be back soon
And now Emilia is off to university too.
Emilia, I’ve watched grow from that quiet, shy 14-year-old into the confident, capable and brilliant young woman you are today. I’ve watched you find your voice, take on responsibility and become someone I could completely trust to look after the pub — although I’m not quite sure when you stopped being my little mini me and started telling me what to do 😂
You have been such a massive part of The Beach and La Mar and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of you.
