❌ EVENT CANCELLED ❌

Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel Definitely Indie - Oasis vs The Smiths with special guests Phase '90 and DJ Time for Heroes at Forde Hall Family & Social Club on Saturday 10th October.

Despite plenty of interest and support, ticket sales simply haven’t reached the level needed to make the event viable, so rather than continue with an event that isn’t going to work financially, we’ve had to call it off.

We’re genuinely gutted, as we were really looking forward to bringing this one to Newton Abbot — Be Here Now - The Oasis Tribute, Still The Smiths and Phase '90 - 90's Indie & Britpop shaping up to be a belter.

A massive thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, shared the event, supported the bands and helped spread the word. ❤️

If you purchased a ticket, please contact your ticket provider regarding your refund.

Hopefully we can bring something similar back to the area in the future — but for now, this one is unfortunately cancelled.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 🙏

🎟 Why buying advance tickets matters

😎 It gives promoters confidence:

Advance sales help us understand whether people are excited about an event and whether our marketing is working.

🥳 It helps artists:

Strong advance sales can influence future bookings and show that people are willing to support local, and wider area, artists

👩‍🏭 It helps venues prepare:

Knowing how many people are expected helps with staff, stock, security and planning

⚠️ It reduces risk:

Grassroots shows and festivals can be expensive to put on. Buying in advance allows promoters to cover some, if not all, costs before the doors open.

🧠 Shows are planned before doors even open:

Promoters often have to make important decisions days or weeks before an event based on advance ticket sales.

One advance ticket does make a difference - if you know you're coming, buying early is one of the easiest ways to support your local music scene ❤️
