Well it's been a long couple of days emptying and cleaning the pub up one last time!
Michael and I (and Richard) can't thank everyone enough for all your support since 2014. We have had a Fantastic time at the Sun, made some great memories and met some lovely people whom hopefully we shall stay in contact with. Saturday night we had an amazing turn out and we thank you all for coming and spending it with us just sorry
It all has to end. The cake and the plaque were very much unexpected but absolutely amazing, thanks to everyone involved in organising it. We received lots of cards and presents they are all very much appreciated. Someone tell Dave and Lisa I have the monkey 😂
Everton village and Sun Inn customers you will all be missed!

Michael and I would like to announce that this coming Sunday the 29th will be our last working day at the pub. As many of you are aware it's not something we have chosen to do, we would of loved to of stayed but the new owners don't believe we are capable of running the pub once the refurb is complete.
We would love it if you could all join us on Saturday 28th January for some farewell drinks and dance the night away😁🎉 and of course as always there's lifts home 😁 it's been a pleasure to of ran the pub for what feels like forever we hope you've enjoyed the pub as much as we have. We'd like to thank everyone for all your support since we opened in 2014 we wouldn't of got where we have without it. It's been a pleasure to of been apart of Everton village community you've all made our family feel very welcome.
And of course thank you to all our staff over the years for all your hard work, although we've been a very small team you've all been brilliant.
