🎹 Introducing Our House Pianist 🎹

We’re thrilled to welcome local pianist and singer Helen Spooner to The Blue Bell Inn for a series of Sunday Sessions throughout the year.

Fresh from her appearance on Channel 4’s The Piano and currently performing as Christine McVie with Dreams of FM, Helen combines stunning piano playing, beautiful vocals and a repertoire packed with pop, rock and folk favourites.

Expect relaxed Sunday afternoons, great music, requests from the audience and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a drink, lunch or one of our famous roasts.

Never fear… the ice cream is back in stock! 🍦☀️

All this glorious weather and you lot wiped us out… but fear not, the freezer is full again with locally sourced luxury ice cream from the brilliant over in Sidlesham, just across Chichester Harbour.

Handmade on their family farm since 2008 using milk from their own herd, Caroline’s Dairy has grown from four flavours into an award-winning local favourite stocked across the South but still made the same traditional way with care, quality and a good sense of humour.

Perfect after a walk around Emsworth, a pint in the garden , as an Arigato with our award winning coffee or simply because the sun’s shining 🍨

It’s Emsworth Market Day 🌞🍅🥂

Fantastic to see St Peter’s Square , the heart of our town absolutely buzzing today with the wonderful and so many brilliant local producers.

Great to catch up with our friends at 🍅 “More sunshine, more flavour!” and we can honestly say we’ve been proudly using their tomatoes on our breakfasts and salads since they first started growing. Local produce, grown with passion, always tastes better.

Also lovely to see the team from who will soon be joining our gin list behind the bar 🍸 another fantastic Hampshire producer crafting something special.

This afternoon there’ll be one eye on the racing too as we look forward to watching the Dante Festival at Racecourse🏇

The mountains have arrived at The Blue Bell 🍑🍺

We are buzzing to launch Peach Lager on draught at The Blue Bell Inn . A dangerously refreshing lager cut with juicy peach to give you first pint refreshment!

Inspired by the Alps and born in the legendary après bar , a favourite haunt of of our chief bottle washer ! Jubel Founder discovered bière pêche a crisp lager with a peach top, and instead of dodging his pints he was enjoying them, in the mountains. Beer lovers loved it, non-beer drinkers loved it… and an idea was born.

The result? A clean, crisp lager bursting with peach flavour that deletes your thirst and leaves you wanting another sip immediately.

At The Blue Bell Inn, Sunday roasts start long before the plates hit the table…

Mise en place in place because perfect preparation is the secret to the perfect roast. From the meat to the vegetables we focus on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to bring you the very best of pub dining.

Our prep begins on Thursday, with our beef stock simmering for 72 hours to create a rich, full-bodied gravy.

The roasties? Started early, left to dry, then roughed up for that ultimate crunch. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle just how they should be.

We use Maris Piper potatoes from for top quality results, cooked with fresh and homegrown thyme for that extra depth of flavour.

We believe in proper pub grub – honest, hearty food made from scratch. Every peel, chop, and stir is done with care, so you can enjoy a Sunday roast the way it should be.
