Mia Italian Kitchen is located on 96 Dalry Road, which is only few minutes away from Haymarket railway station. We serve fresh food, which is simple and straightforward just like Italian food should be. We offer a great variety of wines that have been carefully selected to satisfy our wine lovers. Thursday is looking rather lovely from where we're sitting 🍸❤️

A table full of good food, a couple of cocktails and the wonderful feeling that the weekend is almost within reach.

We’ve always believed that the little moments deserve just as much attention as the big celebrations. An impromptu lunch, a long-overdue catch-up or simply treating yourself to something lovely halfway through a busy week.

We like to think that every neighbourhood deserves a little Italian comfort 🇮🇹❤️

And our Pollo Valdostana is exactly the sort of dish we love bringing to the table.

Tender chicken breast, Italian ham, beautifully melted mozzarella and a rich, creamy sauce. Nothing complicated, just the kind of comforting food that makes you want to sit back, enjoy every mouthful and forget about the clock for a while.

Because at Mia, a meal is never just about what's on the plate. It's about catching up with old friends, sharing stories with family and finding a familiar place where you're always made to feel welcome.

Are we keeping things classic with a Margarita, or adding a little fire to the evening with a Spicy Margarita?

We believe there's a time and place for both, especially when good company, a few Italian plates and a well-deserved catch-up are involved.

There’s something special about being part of a neighbourhood 🇮🇹❤️

Our Dalry home has become a place for so many everyday moments - dinners after work, birthdays around big tables, spontaneous plates of pasta and those familiar faces who walk through the door and already know what they’re ordering.

And that is exactly how we like it.

Good Italian food, a warm welcome and a restaurant that feels just as much yours as it does ours.

We’ve never believed anyone should leave an Italian table hungry 🇮🇹

So pull up a chair and let us put a proper plate of pasta in front of everyone.

The kind made for slowing down over, catching up between forkfuls and perhaps ordering a little something else for the table because, well… we are Italian.

As Edinburgh evenings begin to cool, we’re swapping summer plans for cosy tables, generous Italian food and a bottle of red opened between friends.

Our Spaghetti Carbonara - rich, creamy, generously finished with pancetta and plenty of black pepper. The kind of plate that makes everyone go quiet for the first few bites.

And now that Edinburgh is beginning to feel a little more autumnal, we can think of few things better than settling in around the table with a proper bowl of pasta.
