The Cockatoo Pub closed in April 218 Wherever possible, local produce is used and we are famous for our generous portions.

Owned by the Glass family since 1997, awarded Family Pub of the Year 2011, The Cockatoo has built up a solid and enviable reputation for excellent food and friendly service, offering separate menus for children and senior citizens at discount prices. It is with a very heavy heart that The Cockatoo site is to be redeveloped & will close permanently on the 22nd April 2018. We have enjoyed our time here immensely & made lots of great friends. Thank you all very much for your custom & support . It is our intention to open a new Cockatoo in the next year or so. The impact of road closures has had an unsustainable effect on our viability but moving to a new site will address these problems
