Who's special, you guys, that's who. We've both been overwhelmed & very teary from all the beautiful comments on socials / email / in person, almost made us question if it was the right thing to do. From the bottom of our hearts, thanks for all the years, we've had a blast & sounds like you have as well 😘

One last special from the big guy in the kitchen, he's pretty special as well - fine udon & miso carbonara, house cured pig cheek bacon, wild garlic capers, crispy onion, pickled asparagus 😍

After 17yrs we’ve (finally) decided to hang up our bar towels & seek new adventures…

The biggest heartfelt thanks to all our customers, suppliers, D.J’s, friends & family who continuously supported us through highs & lows, tears & laughter, new menus & New Years’ celebrations for almost 2 decades. It’s’ been some journey.

Our incredible staff - just wow, you put up with us for so long! Not to mention the relentless festival chaos year after year. We’re forever grateful for your efforts in that kitchen inferno, last minute shift covers, late nights & “team meetings”. How lucky we’ve been to work with you & become friends beyond these walls.

Everyone made Under the Stairs a special little place & we leave with years of fond memories.

Our last night will be Sat 1st Nov, end of an era so obviously there has to be a fitting Under the Stairs send-off. kitchen will be open until 9.45pm & Rob Ralston will be on the decks from 10pm for 90’s set.
…join us for super scran & one last dance around the tables.

Moving in will be the awesome & innovative Cocktail Geeks. We wish them every success & so look forward to raising a glass in their new venture.

Until then, we’ll still be doing what UTS does best, so come down those stairs & see us (& the fish) before we go.
