You can find us located 'Halfway' up Fleshmarket Close, metres away from the Market Street entrance to Waverley train station. We can also be accessed from the top of Fleshmarket Close from Cockburn Street, just off the Royal Mile. The Halfway House offers a homely, historic and perhaps most importantly, friendly atmosphere where all are welcome. Here at the Halfway House, you'll find Real Cask Ales available daily, including guest ales from local breweries. We have beers and lagers on draught as well as a variety of chilled bottled products. If ales or beer aren't for you, we have a wide selection of delicious Whiskies from every corner of Scotland for you to try as well as many other spirits and liquers from around the country. Along with providing quality drinks to our customers, we offer locally sourced bar snacks. A selection of fresh hot Scottish pies every day from the Broughton Market Butchers.
