Those Paralympics look a bit mad. There was some showing on telly at the Joker while I was setting up yesterday.

The sport was cycling and I was a confused viewer. They seemed to have, all in the same race, standard-looking bikes, recumbent bikes, hand-pedaled bikes, and tandems.

I’m sure it’s all fair and balanced with the different qualification crtieria, but how the hell they do it, I have no idea. Well done to everyone involved.

Anyway, there is a level-playing field at all of tonight’s quizzes.

Unless you’re as thick as two pounds of mince, in which case you’re at a disadvantage… unless you come to the Newsroom, where the going is … more forgiving.
