This week, we’re delighted to celebrate the second anniversary of reopening The Jazz Bar, while also marking 21 years since the venue first opened its doors 🥂 ✨.

To celebrate the occasion, we’re thrilled to welcome our long-time friend Paul Kirby and his band on Wednesday 1st July at 20:30 (tickets 🎟️ in comments).

Thank you to everyone who has been part of The Jazz Bar’s journey over the years — our loyal regulars, new visitors, dedicated staff, and, above all, the incredible musicians who bring our stage to life night after night.

Massive thank you to our friends at the Music Venue Trust for supporting The Jazz Bar through their new ‘Raise the Standard’ programme and providing us with a free microphone package!

MVT is a UK registered charity working to protect, secure and improve Grassroots Music Venues.

They were also a huge support to us during our reopening in 2024, and continue to help grassroots venues across the UK at a time when more and more independent music spaces are disappearing every month. Their advice, advocacy and support genuinely make a difference.

Grassroots venues only survive with the public’s support too - every ticket bought and every person through the door helps keep spaces like this alive ❤️
