We are having a sabbatical in Italy this spring/ summer. Vinitaly was a little later this year because of the early Easter, so we had to take a rain check. But, we will take the opportunity to source some new producers where we can and introduce their wines to you so stay tuned!

Of all the the Italian wines that I enjoy, Chianti still remains my favourite for everyday drinking.

Our 'entry level' Chianti Monna Lisa at only £6.59 a bottle ( special discounted price) is going down well with "un bel' piatto" di Spaghetti alla Puttanesca, that is as a tart would make it, except in this case it's my son Domi who is the chef. Buon Appetito!
