Unfortunately, a more serious post today…

Our wonderful regular Kelly has unfortunately been deported and needs help getting back to the home she has made in Scotland. Would you please consider clicking the link and helping out?

Kelly has organised Fringe shows for this year… if we can get her back in time that would mean the world, not just for the sake of Fringe, but to have our Kelly back where she belongs.

We have a very special community and Kelly is very much an important branch on the family tree.

Webster‘s ragtime trio is a central Texas based throwback to a style of music that went largely unrecorded. A style of music that rose out of the burgeoning American west. Webster’s Ragtime Trio highlights a missing and often overlooked link between classic Ragtime and the influence it so profoundly had on early American String-bands throughout the south.
The trio dips into toes beyond the waters of ragtime with renditions of early Tex-Mex fiddle music, American Old-time and Hawaiian steel guitar Melodies.
Alexander Jones, Westin Borghesi and Will Webster make up this trio!

Last night we bid a bittersweet farewell to the lovely lads (affectionately known as ‘the barn owls’ by the bar staff’) we’ve been lucky to get to hear play over the last 5 months, mainly during the almighty sessions 🎶🪕

I found a clip from the first night I heard them play and thought it would be nice to see a couple videos from their last together.

This is what our community is all about, and it’s folks like yourself that help make it that way. We have loved having you boys, thank you for sharing your talent and impeccable vibes with us. And dont worry, we will all still be here when you come back 😅❤️
