Techno was first developed in Detroit America at the end of the disco age, DJs were pushing the boundaries of their music and mixing them in ways that were never heard before, Djs like Jeff Mills and Derrick May were the fore fathers of this new music and hundreds of thousands of Americans would listen in to pirate radio stations for this fresh new sound, the word techno music was given to this ne

w sound, as it was old disco beats with synth stabs and leads played over the top, new technology allowed for cheaper, more affordable hardware which allowed artists to remix their favourite tunes and therefore technology music (Techno music ) was born. Over 30 years has past and there is a mass of different genres that can trace its routes back to that time, Gravity was born in Edinburgh in order to bring the masses of Edinburgh and Scotland the most up to date and developed techno music from around the world. Gravity is not just a club night but more of an experience, its a way of life, its your personality and the fashion of today, it brings people and nations together all under one roof.
