The funeral for George McDonald will take place next Tuesday 30th at 12.00. The funeral is to be a private family one so to mark George’s passing and to swap all those stories and hopefully find out some new ones we are holding a Wake in Jinglin’Geordies from 1pm. All welcome !!

Very sad news, this morning we heard the news that George MacDonald had left us ! The pub will never be the same characters like George are few and far between and he’s going to be missed by so many people even when he’s not around for one day the first question people ask is where’s George? Arivederci George and Power to the People - no he wasn’t Italian and wasn’t into politics but loved a reaction, even invented a new country Americy!
