As always, the 14th of February is the date you need to circle for Catz Onley. Nae dugs, just moggies. A free pint for human companions. Treats for the furballs.

The Six Nations kicks off this Thursday night, with France v Ireland. Scotland play in Rome on Saturday, and England take on Wales later the same day.

NB there is NO Music Bingo this coming Friday (6th) because your hosts are all otherwise engaged. We'll be back with a bumper Friday 13th edition next week.

Go steady. Eat food. Drink water. Keep an eye on your pals. Be nice to the bar staff. Tip generously. These are rules you should follow all year tbf.

You may not get a choice where the office party drags you but, if you do, we're in the age of the £6 pint. If you're going to spend £6 on a pint, at least try to make it a bloody good one.

Edinburgh's and Manchester's will take 7 lines between them. Smashing folk, great beers.

Friday 17th: Birthday Music Bingo.

Special prizes. Free, as always.

Saturday 18th: Double Denim Karaoke Dominoes

The traditional birthday dominoes tournament is already almost fully subscribed, but we've a handful of seats left. A tenner in. Some great prizes. Karaoke is open to all, except Libby and Nick.

Sunday: £5 Bloody Marys, with the full line-up of accompaniments.

Prepping chilli tequila for our Pride party on Saturday...

We'll have spicy margz, verdita shots, and all kinds of other nonsense, little of which will cool you down in the anticipated heatwave, but we've got beer and cider for that.

In the meantime, some poor mug has to keep sampling this tequila to check the spice level. I may see you on Saturday. Maybe not.
