My new album "Struck" is out today!
It feels like an entire lifetime has gone into this project.
I finished writing it almost five years ago. Then, when my father passed, it took another year or so before I could return to mixing it.
It’s hard to talk about the music without including him. He was a great influence and a grounding force, deepening my connection to the craft.
I’m no longer really sure where the music I’m making is supposed to fit. It’s become rather untethered from any particular goal or purpose, but there’s something wonderfully freeing about that. I’m really starting to embrace the beauty of insignificance—like a speck of dust.
I hope the album finds its way to some people who can enjoy it.
