Clubhouse open to the public. Craigmillar Park is 3 miles south of the centre of Edinburgh, next to the beautiful Blackford Hill, with panoramic views over the city. Had fun last week flying the drone over some of the holes on the course - many thanks to member Stuart Duncan 🙏. We plan to do quite a bit more over June and July. So look out for us, if your playing one early evening when the sun's out and there's little wind 😊

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Stewart Brewing Fun Day at the weekend. We enjoyed glorious weather, fantastic course conditions, and, as usual, great camaraderie and banter. The scoring was impressive, reflecting a wonderful day of friendly competition.
Congratulations to our 1st prize winners—the trio of Andrew, Grant, and Robert Fleming—who topped the leaderboard with an outstanding score of 52! 2nd place with a score of 54 goes to Trevor Hurley, Alan McApline and Christian Traynor and 3rd place with a score of 56 goes to Scott Dolan, Alistair Robinson and Gillian Robinson.
These fun events wouldn't happen without the support of organisers and sponsors. Thank you to all those who helped in planning, setting up and provision of the pies which we hope you enjoyed. A special thanks to Mark Hyson and all at Stewart Brewing for supporting the event. Keep an eye out when the fixture list is published, as we are all keen to run the event again next year.

Yesterday saw the annual Leonardo Retirees vs. Workers Golf Challenge Cup take over Craigmillar Park for a few hours.

Despite some fierce competition and plenty of friendly banter, the Retirees showed everyone how it's done—retaining the cup with a dominant 4-1 victory in the 4-ball better-ball format.🤫🏆

Congrats to the event's prizes winners:
👉 Kenny McCormick (Kirkcaldy GC) – Longest Drive on the 5th
👉 Ian Slaughter (Mortonhall GC) – Nearest the pin in 2 on the 10th
👉 Tim Naulty (Craigmillar Park GC) – Nearest the pin on the 15th👉 Stuart Duncan (Craigmillar Park GC) – Overall best score
A brilliant day with a great camaraderie.
Better luck next time to the Workers! 🏌️‍♂️☀️
